What is it with celery?

I decided celery is a must-try for gardening this year. For two reasons: In the grocery store, (1) the non-organic sort is supposedly one of the most heavily pesticide-ridden produce products and (2) the organic sort is crazy expensive. I've sprouted seeds from the bulk section at the grocery store. Since you can't find another source, you might as well try those!

That social worker story makes me angry. She should know better than to brow-beat someone else, even if she is trying to defend her client! Grrrrr.

I run so far and wide from confrontation of any sort. If I actually work up the nerve to confront someone over something, it's gotta be bad. And, yes, this upstairs neighbor woman is BAD when it comes to producing noise. Seriously, it's not tolerable, even if you don't have a hypersensitive sense of sound. It really is ridiculous. But that social worker had me practically kissing her feet and begging for forgiveness. So the noise continues ( ... )
