Happy May Fifth, everyone!

Tomorrow I have a big day, my first "weekend" since getting back from my vacation. A few months ago, my roommate's father invited me to go to ny state to the family cabin.

I managed to get on an earlier flight to boston for which I managed to get on the standby list; i'm getting gome around 10pm instead of almost midnight. Go figure.

I ended up having to sit next to this high-strung woman who wouldn't shut up amd hang up her damned phone even after we were told to turn "all portable electronic devices must be turned ( Read more... )

My seat was right next to on of the jet engines, luckily I have noise cancelling headphones that work amazingly well.

Gotta admit that jet engines are amazing contraptions.

just boarded one of my return flights. Had a good, relaxing time visiting the family, overdosed on grandma drama and went to the festival. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to go to northern california, but I am not allowed much time off from work to ba able to do a trip like that (sorry meibling... Miss you, too).
