I'm so glad y'all enjoyed the show. It's just one of those things that make me happy. When it started last year, I was excited to see Alyson Hannigan in a new TV role as well as Jason Segel (who played in the much loved but short-lived "Freaks & Geeks"), but the thing that really surprised me was Neil Patrick Harris. I never cared much for "Doogie Howser, M.D." so I didn't know what to expect from him. He plays Barney perfectly though. It would be so easy to make Barney a caricature or sleazy, but he comes across both 3 dimensional and likable.

I really don't like sitcoms at all these days, so it says something when one stands apart from the herd so much.

You better believe it. You have a most excellent ability to weed through crap before broadcasts even start. I always have complete faith in your viewing recommendations.

What can I say? I had a feeling it might be out there, and I was pleased to see I was right. Now you can get the song fully stuck in your head. ;)

I was thankful that I had my piano lesson this morning to get the song out of my head, which by the way I was singing on the way to piano lessons! Ack! ;)

This is one of the only sitcoms we tape, too, and for basically the same reasons.

It's great knowing somebody's out there making entertainment that doesn't look and sound like everything else.
