I'll post a real review when I'm not so time-crunched and exhausted, but for the moment I just wanted to say ...
Frankenstein blew my mind. Everything about it, absolutely everything, was amazing. And Ben's Creature literally ripped out my heart. The second he started talking about loneliness, I teared up a bit. I liked Mr Cumberbatch a lot

My friend Marie and I are queuing this Wednesday for seats to see his Victor (Frankenstein sadly closes on next Monday) and I'm going to buy a program for you and attempt to get it signed if he comes out the stage door (always a gamble), but you'll at least get a program.
Really glad you saw it :)

I was completely awed by his performance; I'd love to see him as Victor at some point (I thought I caught some kind of notice on the screen about performances being available for download on the NT website, for something like three pounds? So that might be a way to do it, I'll have to check) but I'm especially glad I got to see his Creature, since the role's so drastically different from everything else I've seen him in. He completely floored me. ♥
Have fun on Wednesday! ♥

Ben was amazing as Victor last night, it was so raw and emotinoal. Since it's ending on Monday I feel they're just putting every last bit of energy out there, and omg seeing it in the front row was... so intense, like insane.
I succeeded in getting the program for you, so I will mail it to you sometime this week!
To see him as Victor, just check the NTLive website and see if the reverse cast is playing somewhere soem time soon, encores are still going on.

They were showing the reverse-casting here in the evening on the same day I saw the show, but I think that's all the viewings they had planned; I'll have to double-check that there isn't an encore performance scheduled, but I think I might have missed the boat on that, ha. Ah well; since they already have such a high-quality video recording of the show, maybe we'll be able to expect a DVD release in the future?
