Memory lane, nerd edition.

I spent the majority of the day reading all twelve volumes of CLAMP's Card Captor Sakura, as prep-work for my first help_japan fic. I've read it before, but it's been ages; it was actually the first manga I ever read, back in 8th grade, and my very first introduction to CLAMP (who have since become my very favorite manga authors.) Card Captor Sakura was also one of the influencing works that pushed me towards shounen-ai and yaoi. Touya and Yukito are just so wonderful, and everything CLAMP does is, as you've said, fantastic.

Hooray, another CLAMP fan! ♥ Touya and Yuki are great, aren't they? The funny thing about re-reading their segments was that I remembered being disappointed there wasn't anything more explicitly stated about their feelings, and yet this time around I think the simplistic nature of it all is actually the relationship's strength.

Haha, memories, indeed! ♥ Crazy to think how long I've been reading and enjoying manga ...
