Yay! It's back! Apartment life is definitely one of my favorite expansions! I remember making pretend apartments in the original Sims... so nice to be able to do it for real now.
Benjen and Mycah are so fucking cute! Loras definitely has some work cut out for him.
Hahah, I did the same! :D It was on my old sims installment (before my old hard drive hopped over the edge) and slowed my game horribly down as the building had 4 storeys and I only used the two "flats" on the third story but it was SO cool! Totally urban with fake walls of other apartment buildings left and right of it at the edge of the lot ^^ I even built fake apartment lots to substitute the neighbourhood decorations that look like skyscrapers thus adding to the death of my game, hehe. But it looked so cool in the neighbourhood even though I had no neighbourhood view when on the lot...but now I have and loooove it :D
Gah, atm I'm just as excited as Tweek XD
And Loras has some big points already: red hair and green eyes...pale skin with freckles and he'd be instant heir ^^ But for now he's going to compete with the cuteness that is the twins.
The one thing I've always loved about the Sims (going all the way back to the Sims 1) is that you are really only limited by your imagination and the imagination of the community... errr and I guess by the capabilities of your pc. ^_^ When Sims 2 came out my pc wouldn't play it, so when that one died, my only requirement was that the new one play it.
Getting a new expansion pack is always fun. Although I have found that Chemistry likes to mess with my plans. It never fails that when two people make a perfect pair in my head, the game decides there just isn't any chemistry. But then everyone once in a while I'll be surprised with a natural 3-bolt couple with no interference on my part.
Those kids are seriously cute, so at least you know that whoever the heir is, they are going to be absolutely adorable.
Well, I'll see...it wouldn't be the first time that I have an adorable kid who grows into some freak teen... :/
Since then whenever I make new Sims in CAS who are supposed to be kids in the game, I create them as adults and then age them down to kids before saving them...
Yeees, I love her, too. Especially her independent kind of character (and the unresponsible kind of guys she chose as father for her children...none of them hardly ever called again after they were born ^^). Plus, she's much more easily amused (fun-bar up) than she was as a kid.
Up until now the twins have the same level with me. Perhaps I like Mycah a little bit more, too, cuz he did his homework more often instead of causing social worker-threats to pop up every other minute like his brother (that happened in my game last night - it's weekend in the game, I can't do anything about it -.-)
