I watched Thor. It was good. The theater I saw it in apparently had fucked up air conditioning, but I didn't even notice. I am a fat man, so the fact that I didn't notice surely means this was a riveting film

I just saw the Ip Man movies and 13 Assassins. I loved them all but I really had a problem with Ip Man 2 only with the fact that it took the most powerful martial arts master in all of China to just barely beat an over-the-top evil English chap that goes by "The Twister", where in the previous film he was an unstoppable martial arts juggernaut, even in the final fight the antagonist didn't stand a chance.

Also..Transformers just made me sad. Why did they let Optimus Prime get tangled in cables for 15 minutes? This is a guy with a RED HOT CABLE SLICING WRIST BLADE that we've seen slice through metal in numerous demonstrations so we know it works...so WHY? I think at the very last minute Michael Bay decided to edit out the trombone (wah..wah.waaaah) and Optimus Prime just shrugging.
