“Akari-chan!” The twin boys called their friend’s name in synch.

“Let’s play baseball! I’ll be the pitcher!”

“No, I’ll be the pitcher! Daddy taught me how to pitch!”

“Daddy taught me too!”

“Kenjiro-kun, Kentaro-kun! “ Both boys stilled at the authoritarian voice from the six years old Akanishi Akari. “We will take turns! But I want to be pitcher first!”

Jin rolled his eyes as the three children ran to the yard between yells and laughs. He handed Kamenashi a beer and plopped down on the couch with a grin.

“I still wonder how Meisa-chan handles the twins, really.”

“They’re surprisingly well-behaved at home. I think they know you won’t let me scold them when we come over.”

“That must be why they keep begging you to come visit the awesome Uncle Akanishi.”

Kame rolled his eyes, taking a sip from his beer. “I think they just feel sorry for Akari-chan because her dad sucks at baseball.”

Jin stuck his tongue out at him. “Her daddy is awesome at soccer, though.”

“Soccer sucks.”

Jin was about to give an offended retort when the front door opened again and a twelve years old girl appeared in the living room; she looked a lot like Meisa and it was obvious that she was in her way to become a very beautiful woman - as long as she kept the Kamenashi eyebrows at bay. She handed the car’s keys to her father and fretted nervously for a few moment, clutching tightly at his bag.

“Is Aiden-kun home?”

She blushed at the knowing smirk both men shared before Jin called for his second son to go down, and received a yell from his oldest daughter about silence and studying and University entrance exams in return. Soon a young boy was stumbling downstairs, cheeks just as red as Kame’s daughter.

“Good afternoon, Kimiko-chan. Uhm, Dad, can we… Go for a walk?”

“Sure, sure. But Aiden? Remember what I’ve told you: be a gentleman.”

Both teenagers’ faces turned even a darker shade of red as they hurried to leave, too keen to avoid their fathers’ loud laughs.

“Can your son’s friends even pronounce his name?”

Jin laughed. “They manage. Sarah let me chose the girls’ names, but she wouldn’t give in with Aiden’s.”

“And you said you preferred Japanese women.”

“I did. Sarah just… kind of happened.”

Kame would have gladly kept poking fun at Jin, but the twins and Akari quickly stormed into the living room, jumping excitedly and yelling all at the same time.

“Kimiko-nee-chan and Aiden-kun were holding hands!”

“We saw Nii-chan holding hands with Kimiko-chan!”

Both men roared with laughter as the twins made kissy faces at Akari, who in turn pretended to be disgusted.

“So Akame is turning real after all.”

“Fans would go crazy if they knew.”
