So, yesterday Ben, Dan, and Nikki came back from Wakarusa and we had dinner at my house. Everyone was over yesterday. Kaitlen helped me cook and we got plantains! We re-created the epic death scene from Kaiju Big Battel when the Silver Potato stabbed Pedro Plantain in the back. Really cute pics. So I made some neat recipe from Betty Crocker. well put. i hate how people justify alcohol but then turn and say "oh you're a dirty stoner" or whatever and refuse to believe that you're actually causing less harm. or vice versa.

haha you act as though cigarrette smokers are some discriminated against minority. the fact is, you choose to smoke. its your decision. but when you smoke inside, the decision affects more than your own lungs.

i agree that there shouldnt be discrepencies between cloves or regular cigarettes (cloves DO smell better). but i totally back the smoking ban in mass.

oh.. and your analogy between eating and drug use was laughable, at best.

Humans need to relax. If you choose to eat veggies or a steak when you're hungry there is a choice between two foods. With relaxation, you could listen to music, read a book, have a drink, make art, or do a few of these things at once. Some people choose drugs to help. It's (usually) a conscience decision. But sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's an obsession. Just like with overeating and obesity, some people have no control over their habits. And this nation has more overweight people than drugusers. not to say that drugusers aren't fat either.

it wouldn't be such an issue, had places prepared for having a place to smoke outside or something other than the front door. there is noting worse then having a smoke outside when avid nonsmokers walk by just trying to stare you down. it kills the relaxing atmosphere surrounding smoking my cigarette.

okay, THAT makes a lot more sense than yr first analogy.

but more overweight people than drug users? i doubt that.

im all for not having to walk through a cloud of smoke when i leave restaurants (etc). i personally dont make it a point to stare down smokers, but shit is it aggravating to have them right in my path when i leave a place.
