Belated Happy New Year !
And to begin this new year, I'll post in english from now on o/ !
Happy New Year ! I hope that you will succeed in your projects and I wish you lot of happiness \o/ !
Also, thank you for looking, commenting at my blog, it makes me really glad. I'm very thankful to the people who helped me when I wasn't feeling good and who encouraged me, it really means a lot for me <33
So, I wanted to draw many drawings for Christmas, but since I messed up my organization and I seriously lack of confidence in my drawings, I didn't do anything But, I intend to catch up in the next weeks or months, so don't be surprised if you receive a drawing out of nowhere o/
Surprisingly, I succeed in realizing my resolutions for the 2009 year, I hope I could make it for this year too, haha. So I've made some new resolutions for this year :
- Draw and read more, more and more till my eyes bleed. Because yeah, I realized that I didn't improve much this year, and that my skill level is the same as last year. It hurt quite a bit when you realize this, hahaha... And I'm far from being a knowledgeable person, books are my friends o/
- Trying to enter in a college preparatory for art school. This gonna be hard, my actual drawings are quite, "manga lololol" but I try to change it. My cowardice prevents me to try enter in an art school, which is quite funny, because I intented to make drawing my job, even if I don't go to an art school. I wonder why I'm so stressed about it OTL
- Be more present and social in DA, lj, on internet in general XD (though my internet connexion isn't really helpful in this case...). And IRL too.
- Achieving in little projects like an (very) short animation video, or little amv, or a full color comic. I'm so impressed with Niconico douga fan videos that I'm saying myself "I want to do the same thing *A* !!". Since I haven't any knowledge in animation, I think I'll start easily with little amv with just pictures scrolling with music, it could be a good beginning. And studying a little bit animation in parallel. I want to learn a lot of different things, like design, web design, animation, etc. I think that if I try a little bit of different things, I could find what I really want to do. Plus, it's fun to vary things ! Just doing illustrations won't help me I think, so, yeah o/ !
- Speaking of web designing, I think I'm going to really make a website. Alhia, I will use your lessons at last ! I'm still thankful for you for making me these basic lessons ;3;/ !
What are your resolutions ?
Ho yeah, I'm still in my fangirling period with Isaac Asimov books. I finished the Robots cycle and now I begin to read his Guide to Science and his autobiography, all in English. I have to read also books from the library until the deadline. There is a book about world history costumes, one about French costume history, and one about Monet's works (this is why I'm not that present on the internet...). Raw raw fight the powa /o/ !! And I should stop buying books because there is no place anymore in my little room... And I have so many pdf books in my computer, but it's very disturbing to read stories in the screen. I can read books about drawing with images, but books with just plain text make my eyes cry.
And also, I just realized after living a year in this appartment, that my room hasn't a very good lighting, hahaha. Which could be the reason why my eyes are so tired on night.

Composition failing ! HRE is supposed to be more underneath, at Italy's feet... Well, it's just a sketch yeah ? *kofkofkof*
Trial with new eyes, because I kind of realized how eyes really work. Some sketches are quite weird.
Weird drawings again, Pixiv influences me a lot.
Drawing from observation. The impressionist thing that is "let's look at this picture like it was just some stains of colors instead of a rose", seems to work. I think I'm going to do more often this kind of exercice (I should do é_è).

I had fun sketching with color markers, they are so thin, it's really cool to draw with them. I think I'm going to do more little sketches like this.
