Its in the evening when the two of them make their way up the hill. Key has his hands linked around JInki complaining about the walk.
“ I don’t know how you convinced me to come here with you “
“ Good things don’t come easy Key “
“ I don’t want it anymore “ he whined.
“ A little bit more , I can carry you ? “ Jinki offers.
“ No , I’ll walk , but you might need to carry my body down if I die from the climb “
Jinki laughs as he drags the other boy up the hill.
Key falls silent the moment they reach the top. Just like Key its absolutely breath taking.
The find a place to sit and settle themselves down.
“ I wish we lived here “ Jinki mutters , the view is so beautiful its rendering him of any proper speech
“ Jinki , what happens when you get through the auditions , they would want you to live here right “
The older boy cringes , he has been trying to push that tiny bit of information to the back of his head so that he would not have to come to any conclusion till he actually passes it.
“ I don’t know “
“ Will you come back and visit ? “
He looks at Key completely stunned , why would key ever doubt his return, Key was the most important person to him apart from his own family. But he doesn’t know that.
“ What am I saying , you’ll make famous friends, earn lots of money , and soon you’d have forgotten about poor old country boy me. “ he laughs like its a joke , but both know there’s some fear in there. Fear that Jinki would change and not be so innocent and naive, so trusting and carefree.
Before he can react he is pulled backwards into a warm hug.
“ I’d never forget you Kibum “
No one calls him Kibum. Ever.
“ hmmm “ is all he mutters.

“ Stop jumping around you’re making me dizzy and I still need to fill in the form for you “
Key’s hand is running quickly across the paper , trying to help Jinki fill up some minor paperwork. Jinki couldn’t trust his own hand writing.
“ I think its done , check it “ The paper flies out of his hand into the other’s hand as he scans through it hurriedly, his mind obviously some where else.
“ Should be alright , argh whatever that is irrelevant compared to my nerves right now “
“ LEE JINKI “ someone shouts from down the hall.
The duo looks at each other , and owner of the name lets out a resounding groan.
“ Okay LEE JINKI , you can do this alright ! Just remember how you practiced , no where to breathe, don’t fall over , be comfortable ! “
“ I don’t wannnaaaaaaa “
Key grabs his shoulders and shakes him.
“ Stop whining and get in there “

Then key pulls Jinki into a hug , a first in such a long while. “ you can do it jinki , I know you can , cause you’re really that amazing “ the pull apart leaving Jinki thinking he could probably takeover the universe right now.
“ wait for me “ he says.
“ Always right here “ Key smiles “ now hurry “

Time passes its been almost an hour before Key sees Jinki step out of the room. He doesn’t ask but waits for Jinki to tell him. They sit there at the same spot , no care for any of the wondrous looks people were giving.
“ They like me “ Jinki finally says after a long while.
Key is more than excited and he’s jumping up and down doing funny moves and dances. Almost screaming , but holding himself back because he knows they’re still in the office building.
“ Why are you so stoned , shouldn’t you be celebrating ?!!! “ Key grabs Jinki and shakes him a little , thinking that maybe he’s in shock.
“ I’ve got two weeks before I have to move here “
Then Key goes quiet.
“ So soon ? “
“ Yeah they’ve been looking for a solo artist and they think maybe I might make the cut so they want to start training me as soon as I’m ready “
“ Well your mum was expecting this so I don’t think there should be a problem “ Key comforts him , as well as himself.
“ two weeks “
“ we’ll visit each other , I’ll try to come up here as often as I can alright? “
“ Key … I ..”
A man interrupts Jinki halfway.
“ Hi , Lee Jinki right ? “
He nods
“ Well I’m gonna be your manager sort off when your training , I’ll be arranging everything including your lodging and such , here’s my number , call me once you know your train schedule so I can pick you up. Oh and you need to handle some paper work in a bit , I’ll call you again so just hang around here “
He nods again mumbling a thanks.
“ if we’re back in half an hour is that okay ? “ ‘ sure “
Key thanks him very politely and drags Jinki away.
“ Lets get something to eat ! “
They don’t have much time , so that end up grabbing a bowl or ramen at a nearby make shift stall set up along the street.
“Jinki , don’t worry you’ll be fine okay , its like a chance of a life time you shouldn’t be thinking so much about it and just take it already “
“ I guess so “
“ GUESS?! , try I know so “
The both laugh , as they dig in to their food , they didn’t have much of a breakfast cause both were too nervous to have an appetite.
They both laughed to hide uncomfortable nagging feeling in the pits of their stomachs.
