I'm realizing again that it has been over a month since my last update on this thing. I doubt that someone is wondering how I am, since most people who care (and who I care about) are in constant contact with me anyway. But just in case, I will update. And given everything that's been going on, this may be more cathartic than I first imagined.

I wrapped up this month by returning to one of my favorite stores, something of a jewel in the crown that is Manhattan Beach. I went to Bodysuite this afternoon, where I rekindled my love with custom-made, do-it-yourself lotion and other essentials. As my job continues to demand much of me, I find that things are either getting easier or harder since this is the last week that the students are here. All in all, what a terrific day!

The students in my class threw me a little party. I was treated to lunch and dinner, and I got three cakes out of the deal! Excellent, right?

I don't feel 19 yet. I expect that this great rush of age will sink in sooner or later. Maybe by the time I get to 20, I'll have mastered the art of being 19.
