Maybe I'm the only person that likes to talk about boots but, since they don't carry my size in stores, I like to know as much about them as possible before ordering online

I have a pair of 8" Rockies that zip up the side that I like. I've had the pair I have now for 2 years, but will prob get a new pair next year.

Personally, I prefer boots like these:

They last forever, come in both men and women, and are comfortable and quick to get on and off...They're a little expensive but worth every penny. They can come in a lower top, but you'd hafta look around.
