This has such a great feel to it. In the beginning, I just got this light, lovely vibe that reminded me of Ye Olde Nine/Rose days, but it was still perfectly Eleven/Rose. Just Rose and the Doctor. In the TARDIS. As it should be.

before spying on them briefly to note how the man wore his jacket, and curiously trying to copy with his own. He tugged it off, straightened it out, then 'casually' slung it over his left shoulder, experimenting with the other hand in his pocket, then out again... or maybe in. In looked casual, right?
Aww! That is Eleven for sure! Has no idea what to do with the ladies. :D

That whole section where he's singing and they're dancing? Made me so happy and yet sad that I think my heart nearly burst. Your style is just great. It doesn't seem overly flowery or contrived, but somehow I can see everything you're describing so very well.

Oh.My.Goodness. The ending. GUH! That's it! I'm meming this forever.

I just want Rose and the Doctor to be happy like this forever. They certainly deserve it! ♥

Truthfully I wish I'd written the beginning better... I think it just took a little time to get truly into their characters. But if you think it worked as Eleven/Rose then excellent! I must have done it better than I thought!

Yes... I think I shall definitely be writing more for these two. And thank you for the lj comms, as well! I'll wander over to them now, do some toastyposting.

It just felt like too many lifetimes, and so many heartbreaks ago. She saw him hesitate, and - of course she did - knew the reason why; with a smile, she gently took it from him and flattened it out herself, taking her place and drawing her legs up to wrap her arms around after patting the other side gently.

MY HEART.
