You know what's cool about things you regret from your past? You remember them in the future. They influence the decisions you'll make later in life, and usually in what is an ultimately positive way.

Just sayin'. Sometimes the wrong choice is the right choice.

For example, in some ways going to Texas was the stupidest things I've ever done. It was a pretty rotten month where I didn't really do anything and almost got myself killed twice.

And I'd do it again, because I gained *so* much from doing so.

Do what feels right to you. As long as it doesn't involve murder (Unless it's the zombie apocalypse and you're murdering zombies). :)

Haha, thanks Gabe! I definitely needed the perspective. BUT does it count as murder if they're already dead?

I recall having to decide if at one point I was going to spend ridiculous amounts of $ to fly cross-country (for the first time and by myself) to spend 4 days over a Thanksgiving weekend with my other half - and I'd be missing 2 days of classes and a day of rehearsal, and it was absolutely worth it. What'd we do? Not much. Hung out. Visited the campus. But in the big scheme of things a few days of class and some disposable $ vs. experience and someone you care about, even if you are later worried those feelings might alter in time or whatever doom is in your brain? Doesn't matter. Live for the living, not for the rote. Go, go forth and have a good time, dammit.

Thanks Gibby! It's good to know other people have gone through this stuff. And, to be honest, you and D are an inspiration! (Aaand yes, my brain is full of doom. And shiny things. Doomful shiny things)
