Mostly bruised and scraped up. Priestly patched me up fairly well. Thank you for the concern.

I'm alright. I expect I'll be quite bruised and sore for a couple of days but I'm more disturbed by the fact that my life has been toyed with needlessly.

[It took Anna much longer than it should have to reach Inara's apartment, and when she arrived it was bruised, dirty and out of breath, as though she'd been running quite awhile. Her coat was torn in several places and the arm underneath was cut. The palms of her hands were raw from falling on the pavement and her head and ankle hurt something fierce.

Still, she knocked hesitantly, not wanting Inara to see her like this, but not wanting to go back outside any time soon even though she was sure her assailant had moved onto greener, or less-informed pastures.]

[Inara has been waiting for Anna to arrive. She'd nearly began to get worried when Anna's knock came on the door. She opens the door with a smile that falls quickly when she sees the condition Anna is in.]

Sit down. I'll get the first aid kit. I assume you were attacked by a carousal animal as well?

[She limps as she's led in, trying to smile for Inara, let her know she's okay, but it's with mixed results.]

I think it was a rabbit. I just got beat up by a giant, fiberglass rabbit.

[Inara returns the smile tightly and then nods. Once she gets Anna seated on the sofa, she goes into the bathroom and retrieves to first aid kit. She returns with it in hand, pulls a chair up and starts caring for Anna's wounds.]
