[Inara is standing at the kitchen counter, an apple in one hand and a small paring knife in the other hand. She's got Nina Simone playing throughout the apartment and is very softly singing along. I'm fine. It's just a little cut.

[She doesn't actually sound fine. It's the whole blood makes her faint thing. Not to mention her finger actually is bleeding a great deal. She knew it would. Dr. Chase had cautioned her against cutting herself.]

It's not bleeding that much I don't think.

[She hates hospitals. Has probably mentioned this hatred to Priestly before.]

And if you're cursed that won't clot and you'll bleed through any bandages you apply. Or you can stop by and see a nurse for five minutes and they'll seal it up for you with no problem.
