Here is my attempt at writing longer pieces. I hope it's a good one

Teenage!engagement/marriage fics are my pet peeve. BUT I loved the last two paragraphs. These bits especially: "...yell at her for putting herself in harms way, yell at her for deliberately doing the one thing he asked her not to do, yell at her for scaring the hell out of him, but he can’t. All he can do is stare at the girl-no, the woman in front of him..." (I loved the italicised underlined bits!) and "...at the same time it feels like anything else he could say at this moment would be wrong, and only one thing she can say will be right."

Something I noticed: “Ginny, anything could have happened to you!” He shouts. Should be a small "H" as it's still the same sentence.

But I liked this. It felt very natural and while dramatic, not cheesified. You did well to make me overcome my pet peeve, lol. I want to read the others!

You are sooo welcome! I had to rewrite the end of this about three times before I actually came up with one I liked. I kept ending it with "I love you, let's go run off into the sunset!" before I was finally able to break through my fluff barrier :)

I do like that! "The Effects of War" seemed kind of ironic to me, which is why I liked it. Usually when you talk about the effects of a war, you're talking about rebuilding a nation and burying your dead. I liked that this wasn't about either of those things :) *end incredibly too long explanation*

Harry's desperation in his search for Ginny was palpable. I feel like I have run the entire length of the castle searching with him. This fic showed a maturity in both the characters and notably Harry who was able to overcome his emotions and see Ginny as the woman he wanted to spend his life with.

Oh no worries. It is always great to come across a good story, especially a Harry/Ginny one. They are my true pairing (though I do dabble around others also).
