what does it take to be a donor and how do they match it up?? i'd like to know!

to get tested to see if you match is simple, they take some blood less than what you give to "donate" so less than a pint I think. Then they test it, which I don't know all the details on that, but if you are a match then you can donate bone marrow. That is an outpatient procedure with a recovery time of like 2-3 days I think, now the details I don't know for sure either. I'm on my way to the civic center to get tested now, so I'll ask about it =).

the thing with today is your enrolled in a bank so that if you match someone else not necessarily just morgan but anyone in the US they'll let you know, then you can donate to save them too.
