So we arrived, after dealing with driving rain, that turned into massive snow coming over the Grapevine, winds, and a few other things. So far, so good.  Despite the renovations of the hotel.   It'll just be easier if I do this, this way.

PROS:

• Newly redesigned room not only looks better than the old ones did, our decor actually matches the party

I wish I could be there for the demonstration for the writers! I completely support what they're doing...stupid Travelocity. I hope the night and the party goes as well as you'd hoped--thanks for the vivid descriptions.
