Pavel's doctor appointment had taken longer than Hikaru expected it would, and Hikaru had grown bored and restless waiting for Pavel in the room. His earpiece had screeched a couple of times, and he was getting the beginnings of a headache. He needed some air. Stupid to stay in a room, anyway, when they were on shoreleave, unless they were...well.

A smile playing on his lips, Hikaru left a note for Pavel (Went for a walk. Back soon. Love you.) and wandered from the hotel, along the streets, watching the sunset, until he came to a park

Pavel practically jumped off the bench in surprise. He whirled around, nearly dropping Harold's PADD in the process.

"Great," Hikaru replied, looking Pavel up and down. He folded his arms over his chest and knitted his eyebrows together. "Why are you here, though? Thought you'd come back to the room after and we could. You know." He paused. "Talk. Or whatever."
