Because Heidi told me to. The first of about a thousand skate fics I've written in recent months.

Gah, so bittersweet. I can imagine something like this happening on the show, at least Kate being able to relate because she lost Tom. They really have so much in common. I haven't been involved in the fandom for so long, but I think Skate will always be my OTP. They are so perfect for each other. ♥

Mine too. I think that's why I keep coming back to them randomly. They must be my all-time OTP, I guess. I've been shipping them obsessively since the beginning, after all, and even outside of being involved in fandom, I still write them. Haha. That's love if I've ever seen it. :P

Next one will be up in a few hours :P
