Things are a bit better now. My mum & I got into a fight about school yesturday, and it sucked. She told me that if I wouldn't go to school I wouldn't be able to see Josiah. Yeah, try keeping us apart & good luck to you. So I went to work, and I was supposed to work 4:40-11 well, my mum came by to pick me up from work at 10:30 that pissed me off. ( Read more... )

If she is hellbent on you going to school, she should change her work schedule so she can take you to night school. Yeah you'll have to leave at 20, but atleast by then you can be a junior, or something. It'll go a lot faster than online homeschooling, cuz you'll still be done in half the time, plus you'll have teachers and some classes you NEED teachers to teach you stuff cuz you can't do it from a computer.

Seriously talk to her about it cuz it really works and it's so much easier and the teachers are better. Technically, right now I have enough credits to be a senior and if I was still in day school I'd barely be a junior.

Why do you need a new job? Can't you just change your hours?

She can't change her hours because she works over time to support us. So yeah. I might go to night school, but then again I might just go get my GED.

& I need a new job because I'm a fucking supervisor & I get paid jack shit. I can do so much better somewhere else or working stocking in the night shift. Josiah might not be able to move out during the summer like planned because his mums making him do atleast 6 months of college before he can get all his fucking money. So I need some spending money [especially for furniture and what-not right now] & I need to start saving up because I'm moving out with Jamie soon.

Hey, if you really want to show her that you're above school, why don't you stop letting her support you in every way and move out on your own? You know, like real adults do? I mean, going to work 40 hours a week (although in your case, probably 60, since you'll have a shitty job) and being independent is SO much better than suffering through REAL hell - horrible, evil, HIGH SCHOOL!! How could she expect you to suffer through that awful ordeal?! How could she be so insensitive to want a real future for you?! Oh, what an uncaring bitch! Good for you for showing her who's boss!
