You might be able to apparate if you're so skilled in long-distance apparation (which I imagine that you are). The distance is about 2,080 km, which is rather far but it's not inter-continental at least.

I might make that distance, yes, but the risk of splinching increases exponentially after 1,5km. I prefer to take a few stops to avoid that. But I'm just hoping we don't all have to go together, like it is with the Hogwarts Express.

How do you feel about Muggle transportation? You could take an airplane, and the apparate from the airport.
