Yesterday I went for a long walk - 8.2 kilometres (6m), I’m fortunate to live on the edge of town so if I head in the right direction it’s all farmland. As long as we can still go for solitary walks like this I think this will be my goal ( Read more... )

Hey, Lisa: glad you're back.

Both my clients left town; I'm a dogwalker. So I get to stay up late for the first time in years-guess what time it is? [4 AM!]

I was out today to get some food; fortunately people are too scared to venture out much. There were quite a few cars on the streets, because when you're in a car, you're somewhat protected.

Crazy shit.

sounds lovely. We live in the middle of suburbia. The parks, walking trails and sidewalks are busy. We tend to stay on quiet side streets where we can walk on the road to social distant. We walk about 2 hours a day. Most are respectful...But there is always some A hole...like a jogger who jogs by really close! Farmland sounds much nicer. Do you have the right equipment to do your job safely, masks etc? Hope so!

Unfortunately there's nowhere nice to walk here.
There used to be fields across the road but they're building there now.

We are having an early spring- temps up to 60 degrees f (15c) so being outside is wonderful for destressing and clearing my head.

I hope you and your clients stay healthy. We are under similar restrictions here.

Tighter restrictions go into effect for Arizona tomorrow. My town, Flagstaff, has been on tighter restrictions than the rest of the state for two weeks, so it's not a huge change for us. I'm only going out for walks or bike rides, otherwise I'm avoiding anyplace that has people, including the grocery stores.
