This was the first of a gazillion (and I counted every one) rainbows we saw that day. It was one of the last days of the boys' fall holiday from school and it was my last weekday off from work (my first "vacation" in my new job).
This was the view from the top of the mountain pass that we went over on our way to Loch Tay. Then the snow started.
We got hammered - the wind was blowing and the snow was pelting the car! But it didn't last long.
But look at the result! That's Ben Lawyers.
The fall colors have been brilliant this year!
These are all taken from the South road along Loch Tay - its a single track road but its very well appointed. Its beautiful - you get some of the lovliest views along that road and if you ever get the chance, take the drive. Its well worth it!
