Hayley answered the phone a little slowly, worried it might be bad news.

"H-hello?" she said. "You've reached room four, who do you want?"

She almost hoped the phone wasn't for her. She couldn't take more bad news.

"Hi Room Four, how are you and Room 5 doing?"

Sorry Leda, Hayley sadly isn't one of those people that can instantly recognzie voices over the phone.

"I don't even think anyone is in room five," she said, voice shaky. "Who is this?"

There was no way in hell that Elle wasn't going to call now that she had Hayley's number.

So there she was, calling. And feeling a little out of sorts.

Twice in one day? Hayley was sort of amazed. She picked up the phone and answered it like she was supposed to. "Room four," she said. "Are you looking for Hayley or... the other girl."

She realized she didn't even remember the other girl's name.

"I'm looking for Hayley," Elle said. "Unless the other girl coincidentally happens to be named Hayley as well. In which case I want the blonde one who went to Fandom."

"That's me," Hayley said. "Is... is that you Elle?" Her voice had a hint of sadness, but a lot of hope at hearing her friend's voice.
