Ok ok. I keep saying i'm going to give up on the scale. I've been doing this here for a few weeks now, and I seem to hover between 358 and 262. So, out goes the scale. If I hide it in the garage, I won't be tempted to worry about the numbers. My clothes are looser, so I know I'm losing inches. And I'm feeling somewhat better too. So there are ( Read more... )

Sounds like you're making great progress! KEEP IT UP! I know it's so hard NOT to rely on the scale, but you're having great NSVs! It's all the little things that add up.

I'm glad you added the part about not denying yourself something if you really want it. I learned that the hard way, a little of something to satisfy you is better than denying yourself, and then overindulging later. If I want a cookie, I'll have 1 cookie, not 10 cookies. (Yes, I did that...the horror!)

Awww...I hope you feel better!! Keep up the positive attitude! :-)

I admire your ability to stay positive though some things haven't been going your way. Handy lists you've made; I'm considering doing the same thing myself as I recognized many of my own habits there. Going to bed earlier is an excellent idea - it's one of the things I repeatedly fail in, but it leads to so many good things that it's certainly worth a try. Do you feel more active if you get up earlier? I do, I'm full of energy and the day just gets better if I exercise in the morning.

Consider seeing a doctor about the ankle if it won't cease to hurt. I hope you can keep exercising, don't strain yourself if you feel out of breath. Only two weeks until the paycheck! You can do it, but try some financial planning next month. Good luck : )
