Okay, so I did't lie on purpose. I'd started a post (it's saved somewhere I think) that was more cheerful than the whole "my cat died" thing, but then my laptop started being wonky so I had to restart and I lost my focus. Aaaand then shit hit the fan, as it so often does. So onward to more depressing stuff. Yay

My heart totally stopped when I read that and then I whooped with happiness to hear he woke up again. I'm so glad you get that opportunity to make things different.

I'm also glad you're on medication that's helping you. I know, first-hand, exactly how gross and awful and un-fun it is to deal with suicidal ideation. And how isolating. No one ever wants to talk about that, and anyone close to you pretty much always freaks out.
