What: Ulquiorra goes to get groceries for himself and Kairi, only to run into the AMC sergeant who's been after him.
When: Monday, December 8th, afternoon.
Where: Some market in Monacello territory by Ulquiorra's apartment.
Ulquiorra hadn't been out of his apartment since the night Dio had called him to that restaurant. He had no real reason to go anywhere. It was too risky to take up jobs right after the big bombing hits. The family was walking on eggshells anyway, and it wasn't like he had completely redeemed himself either. Yet.
But that wasn't the only thing on his mind. Kairi had been rather depressed since the bombings. She had lost her job when the tea import shop had been blown up, and she of course was worrying about every little thing. He had been avoiding her as much as he could, half because he wanted to be as far away from her as he possibly could when she was in moods like this, and half because he knew he had a hand in making her sad.
So today he was going to make it up to her by making dinner. She hadn't really let him cook since she had moved in. He wondered if she knew that he liked to cook. But he wouldn't be surprised if she didn't know. The thought made him frown as he entered the corner market down the street from his apartment.
The smell of warm bread inside was nice, and he looked over the fruit as he tried to think of what exactly he wanted to make for her.
