Kaede knew she would be in deep trouble if she walked in there. In deep trouble with the ones who were out for her arrest. In deep trouble with Dio and the Monacello house if she talked. Deep trouble with LaSquadra if she let slip anything that might lead back to them. But she knew the AMC would find her sooner or later--no matter how good she was at hiding in the shadows.
"Damned if I do, damned if I don't," she muttered--and walked in.
