Scowling up at the ceiling was beginning to hurt her neck, but Rikku couldn't find the motivation to take her glare away from the one bare-ish spot up there that was making her fingers itch for some plaster.
Everything in her garage was moderately intact-none of her machina had really been damaged, though most of it had been strewn across the concrete floor when she'd made her way back to the kynyka. One shelf had been knocked over, but she was currently using it as a rather convenient bench upon which to do her sulking. Because the only real problem she could locate was that stupid tile that had fallen from the ceiling on to her head as she'd been assessing the situation in her shop.
Needless to say she had not been thrilled when she had felt something hit her in the head from above. She had, of course, assumed she was being attacked and had immediately whipped around, knife in hand. She didn't even realize that she hadn't been assaulted by a person until she had tripped over the fallen tile, which had been lying on the ground so

X walked his motorcycle in, leaving it close to the wall, helmet hanging on it. He took only a moment to glance around, and, he had to admit, it didn't look good-- but then, it was probably pretty messy normally, so, relatively speaking, this probably wasn't as bad as it looked. Besides, Rikku looked like she was in one piece, and that, more than anything, was the important thing.
Chocolate in hand, X moved to stand beside her, and looked up at the ceiling for a moment, then to her, then to the ceiling again, then to her, a small smile cracking his lips.
"Hey. Come on. Let's get inside. Keep staring at that spot like that and you'll develop laser vision, burn right through it, and we'll have a whole new mess on our hands."
Only when he spoke did she finally look at him, spiraled jade eyes blinking rapidly at the sudden change in view. Her gaze quickly drifted over to the motorcycle he'd dragged through the door, and she cocked an eyebrow with intrigue. She hadn't known he'd owned such a nice bike. But then, she'd wager there were a lot of things she still didn't know about him, just like there were a lot of things he knew about her
