Well. What started out as a pleasant evening at The Three Broomsticks turned into rather a melee.
I was having a few drinks with Severus and Sinistra, nothing unusual about that. I wonder if Severus realizes just how enthusiastic he sounded on the subject of spanking? A more suspicious person than myself might be drawn to wonder at his motives.
Hardly surprising to see Lupin and Black trundle in, draped across each other as usual. One wonders if they'll ever come off heat. Sinistra and I were content to ignore it, but Severus seemed rather... exercised... in his indignation. Particularly since Messrs. Black and Lupin seemed to have forgotten that the tables at this particular establishment lack tablecloths, and therefore for them to be pawing each other under the table put on rather a show.
While it's true that such a display would be more proper, perhaps, in the stud-room of a mastiff breeder's kennel, Severus in particular took a rather vocal exception to it, at sufficient volume that Mr. Black felt compelled to respond. Despite my intention of staying out of it, when he referred to me as a "drunken slag" I resolved that Something Would Have To Be Done.
It was rather to be expected that the altercation became physical at that point. Black seemed rather delighted to have an excuse to be grappling Our Severus, I must say. Sirius, you must realize that those ridiculously snug trousers don't hide anything. Severus, too, seemed a bit more excited than such a brawl really warranted.
I must wonder, however, if Black removed his shirt for fear the wine would dissolve the cheap polyester, or if he merely wished to facilitate greater contact?
After I'd sufficiently amused myself watching them roll around on the floor together again, I used the motion of attempting to restrain Severus to cover a swift kick to Mr. Black's privates to avenge myself for his earlier uncalled-for comment.
Before long the two of them were dragged off, to be incarcerated for causing a public ruckus. Doubtless to be confined in the same cell. One wonders if they went on to finish what they had started.
