This is game-related but also feminist-related so I hope personal reviews are okay. I linked it to my blog for length and because I'm lazy and already had this copy-pasta'd. I finished my finals last week and, to my disappointment, completed Far Cry 3.

I remember reading something where one of the game designers said the storyline was supposed to make the player uncomfortable about jason brody's almost sociopathic acceptance of violence. Not sure I buy that and even so it was probably lost on most of the game's audience. Even so, doesn't excuse any of the racist shit. And the 1st person view drugging/rape scene, wtf.
