Point One: Jet are in the running for the 2011 APRA awards! The APRAs are a prestigious Australian songwriting award. 'Seventeen' has been nominated in 'Best Rock Single' and 'Most played song on Australian radio'. Hooray! It will be way better with another fangirl coming along! I will feel far less embarrassed about my own fangirlishness that way. I think I've asked musicians for autographs about three times in my life and I think they were all Tim Freedman.
