I don't think people were "grossed out" by Amy being "a woman of size", as much as they were by yet another BETTY appearance. They fucking invade that show and it's disgusting. Having that horrible theme song is enough, they don't need to be in the show, too.

I dislike the song because I personally liked the L-word theme song of Season 1. It was short, simple and to the point. The Betty theme song is too long in my honest opinion and reminds me of how much the show . .. has changed.

I personally have stopped watching and have relied on afterellen to give a synopsis of the entire show. And the sad thing is that the snarky synopsis is sometimes better than the actual show.
