Ok, so it's really sadness all around,  but the first paragraph of this article has really made me sad.

He was the voice of the Penguins as long as I remember and it kind of broke my heart that he wasn't able to announce the Stanley Cup ceremony at the beginning of this season.  Hopefully he'll be well enough to work a few more games before it's all

I wish that he would, but astrocyte cancer is super serious. There's pretty much no cure. :(
