Lee Soo Man and the Su Ju Gang went on high alert.  Man knew  that hiring a posse wasn't a good idea .  They had tried in the past when the Dong Bang Boys were robbing stage coaches.  But  Rising Sun Pass was too well defended and loaded with booby traps.

The Mayor sent a telegram to his agent advising him of the theft of his money.  The next shipment would be sent out on an armoured train with several armed guards.  But their dilemna was still not solved.  They were out thousands in gold.  And no way to get it back.

Man ordered Heechul and Leeteuk to tighten their grip on the townsfolk.  No one was allowed to enter or leave SM Town without being searched and questioned. Someone in town might have a connection to the gang.  Maybe they were in cohoots with them.  Or perhaps even a friend or family member.

The sheriff and his deputies started with the train passengers.  The only thing they got that sounded promising was that one of the gang seemed ill.

"Perhaps we should keep our eye out for someone who is sick then," Heechul suggested.

"Or  keep look outs at the Doctor's and apothecary shops," said Leeteuk.

Man nodded his head.

"Do what ever it takes.  And don't forget the  Triangle Saloon."

The two "lawmen" and the eleven remaining members of the Suju Gang set out on their task.  All except one.

"Excuse me  Mayor," a deep and confident voice spoke out.  It was the Rev. Siwon Choi who had remained behind.

"What's on your mind, Reverand?"

"I think  I may have inadvertantly discovered something."

Man puffed on his cigar and gulped down a shot of scotch.

"Go ahead, speak your mind."

"Well sir,  have you noticed that despite being worked hard and underpaid, the townsfolk seem content?  It's as if they didn't have a care in the world."

Man looked at Choi with a puzzled look.

"What are you driving at, Siwon?"

The Rev. shuffled his feet.

"I think the Dong Bang Boys are giving the money back to the people."

"What?"

Siwon shrugged his shoulders.

"It's just a thought, afterall, they seem happy."

Man looked as if he was going to explode.

"Choi, you have a job.  Walk among the people and sweet talk them.  There's something fishy going on around here.  I want to to nail these boys one way or another."

"Yes sir,"

Choi tipped his hat and left Man's office to walk among his "flock."

Man sat down at his desk  and poured himself another scotch.

"Yunho, when I catch you and the rest of your scrawny boys I'm gonna hang you high...."

The door to the apothecary shop openend up.  A young woman was reaching for jars on the shelf.  She could hear the clanking of spurs on the wooden floor.

"I'll be right with you, sir," she said.

The sound of  harsh coughing made her stop in her tracks.

She turned around and her eyes met the sick bandit from the train.

The robber removed his hat and the scarf from his face.  The young woman was visibly shaken.  She walked out from behind the counter.

"Hello Nell," the young man spoke with his raspy voice.

The girl slapped him hard across  the face.  He did not flinch.  He expected as much from her.

"Damn you Micky Parker," she yelled at him.

The young man known to the Dong Bang Boys as YC stared in the beautiful eyes of the girl before him.  They were angy, tear filled eyes.

"I'm home Nellie.  Your little brother is home."
