Summary: Humans encounter a violent Alien race.
The alien bounty hunter stood before the admiral, his features masked by his bio-suit. The admiral sat in his chair in the ready room. Exhausted and frustrated, he had been sleeping when the bounty hunter begged an audience with him.
"What makes you think you can stop this 'thing' when an entire platoon of marines failed?"
The bounty hunter spoke, his voice almost mechanical in nature.
"This 'thing' as you call it, can only be defeated by one of it's own kind. His armor is impenetrable; his skill unmatched. Our fight will be an epic struggle; but in the end I will triumph."
The admiral laughed and ran his fingers through his hair.
"You're pretty sure of yourself."
The bounty hunter nodded his head. The admiral stood up and looked through his window, staring out at the stars.
"What is your price?"
He turned to face the bounty hunter. The armored warrior took a digital disk from a pocket in his bio-suit and slid it across the admiral's desk.
"This time, I'm paying you."
The admiral picked up the disk.
"What is this?"
Underneath his helmet, the bounty hunter smiled.
"Recompense. It won't bring back your soldiers, but it's the best I can do. It's advanced technology; medical manuals and plans for bio-suits. It will help you in the war against the aliens."
The admiral raised an eyebrow.
"I don't understand you. These are your people. Why are you doing this?"
The alien bounty hunter stood still; his words slow and steady.
"I have my reasons. You get technology and the planet below. I will capture this soldier. I will subdue him and bring him here."
The admiral sat down at his desk and poured himself a drink.
"What am I supposed to do with him when you bring him here?"
The alien fiddled with his bio-suit. The admiral flinched as razor sharp claws, several inches long protruded from the alien's gloves.
"I hate when you do that."
The alien shrugged his shoulders, retracting the weapons.
"Give the disk to your best doctors. Tell them to prepare their trauma room. When I bring the soldier in I will need them to to be ready. The disk has everything they need."
The admiral picked up the disk.
"Anything else?"
The bounty hunter once more retrieved an object from his bio-suit. He held it gingerly in his hands. It was a vial of bright blue liquid; the color reminding the admiral of bio-luminescent plants.
"It's a powerful drug; very rare. This is what the aliens give their soldiers. It's a dangerous narcotic; highly addictive. They keep their soldiers in check by drugging them. It also has great healing properties. Make sure it is prepared in a syringe; he will need it. It will aid in the healing process, but eventually he must be weaned off of it."
The alien bounty hunter placed the vial on the admiral's desk.
"Be careful with that," he pointed at the admiral, "that drug is worth more than this whole space ship."
The admiral picked up the vial carefully; the florescent liquid growing brighter as it reacted to his touch. The bounty hunter stood back from the admiral's desk. Touching a few buttons on his wrist, his suit began to glow. Shielding his eyes from the white-hot light, the admiral watched as the bounty hunter disappeared from site.
"Show off," he mumbled under his breath.
As the bounty hunter was transported through space to the planet's surface, he whispered to himself.
"I'm coming Yoochun; I'm coming to set you free."
