The Porcelain Treasure 2

A chill was in the air; light snow falling.  Christmas time was here.  The little curiosity shop was decorated with lights, tinsel and other Yule tide trimmings.  People came from all over the city to see what wondrous things would be on display in the window.  Most of all, they came to see the doll.  The owner had posed it differently; its arms reaching out to the sides as if sitting for a photo shoot; fingers and hands rearranged in such a way that they looked delicate and feminine.  It wore a sparkly red dress for the holidays and a red velvet Santa Claus hat.  Its feet were bare; the owner of the shop not having a set of high heels large enough to fit the androgynous figure.

Shoppers flowed in and out of the store buying small trinkets and other antiques.  It was a delightful shop; full of strange and bizarre items from all over the world; but at the end of the day, the strangest of all items still remained.

No one bought the doll.

Christmas Eve; stars pocked the night sky.  A knock on the door just at closing time brought a welcome guest.

“Yunho!” the shop owner cried, embracing his old friend.  “I was beginning to think you wouldn’t make it.”

“I wouldn’t miss this for the world,” Yunho exclaimed.

His friend took his coat and hat.  They ate heartily; the shop owner’s dinner delicious and piping hot.  They drank eggnog until they became tipsy.  Yunho wandered around the shop and stopped in front of the glass case; it’s inhabitant standing as still as the grave.

“I see you still have that creepy doll, Jaejong.”

Jae frowned.

“He’s not creepy, are you Yoochun?”

Yunho laughed.

“Yoochun?  You named the doll Yoochun?  Why is it wearing a dress?”

Jaejong opened the glass case.  He smoothed the hem of the red dress and winked at the doll.

“Because he’s pretty.”

Yunho chortled.

“I’m sorry nobody bought him.  I guess he’s just meant to be here.”

Yunho looked at the doll.

“How do you know it’s a he?

Jaejong put a finger to his lips.

“Look,” he whispered, as if someone could hear him.

He lifted the dress.

Yunho nearly fell down.  The doll was anatomically correct.

Yunho reached out and touched Yoochun’s package.

“Holy shit,” he said.  “That’s fucked up.”

Jaejong giggled.

“Not as fucked up as we are, huh?”

Jae closed the glass box.

They gulped down the egg nog and sat on the antique couch and sighed deeply.

“Jae,” Yunho said.  “Yoochun has made me horny.”

Jaejong leaned in and kissed Yunho feverishly; his lover responding in kind.  They positioned themselves on the couch; fingers unbuttoning shirts and unzipping pants.  As they continued to make love, they were blissfully unaware that they were about to be watched.

That feeling came again.  A dull thud followed by another.  Quicker, harder, louder.  Lub dub, lub dub.  His body heated up from the core; it tingled with life; skin pricking; tiny hairs rising on his arms and the back of his neck.  Lungs expanded, taking in air.  Eyes blinked open.  Silently, he turned around and watched.

His bit his lower lip.  His body trembled.  There was his Master with another man.  What were they doing?  He placed his hands upon the glass and looked intently.  They were moving; making noises.  Was this other man hurting his Master?  No.  Jae was enjoying himself.  He looked happy.  He looked beautiful.

The doll felt strange.  Something was stirring; something different and new.  There was a throbbing.  It frightened him.  Lifting up the dress, he stared at the parts between his legs.  It hurt.  He took it gently in his slender hands and began to rub it.  It felt good; too good.  His hands moved faster; the length within his grasp growing stiffer by the moment.  He breathed hard and rapid; his breath fogging up the glass case.  One hand flattened against it; the other continued to stroke his swollen flesh.  Panting, he leaned forward; the beats in his chest elevated; he panicked and thought about stopping but it felt too good.  The doll shook his head violently from side to side, not caring if he could be seen or heard.

Jae and Yunho were too busy fucking to notice.

The doll’s cheeks were wet; the liquid dribbled into his mouth.  His whole body began to quiver.  Something was happening something frightening and powerful.  He closed his eyes and felt dizzy.  Exhaling hard, he exploded; a sticky substance exiting his body.  He shuddered in fear as the thick fluid coated the glass case.  After regaining his composure, the doll did his best to clean up the mess; after all, Jaejong would be angry, wouldn’t he?  The doll wiped the wetness from its face.  He examined his body; still unsure what had just happened to him.  Adjusting his dress, he peeked out of the case to see if Jae and Yunho had spotted him.  They were already gone; most likely retreating to the bedroom upstairs.

The doll breathed a sigh of relief.  He stared out the store window and watched the snow fall.  More fluid fell from his eyes.

“Junsu,” he whispered pitifully.  “Please buy me.  Yoochun will wait for you.  Yoochun will wait a lifetime.”

As the sun rose in the sky, the doll felt life leaving his body.  He stood still and took his final breath; a final lub dub, and all was silent.

As the doll returned to its motionless state, another watched.  From across the street a stranger had witnessed the transformation and strange behavior of the doll.  The stranger flipped open his phone and dialed a number.

“Yes, this is Shim Changmin.  I’d like to make a large withdrawal.”
