A hand cracked across his face making him bleed. It was followed by another and yet still more. The crowd stood silent; none would dare come to his aid; not when the Queen was issuing the punishment.
“How could you?” she shrieked at him while slicing him across his face.
Yoochun dared to look up at her. She was so beautiful when she was angry.
She regained her composure and dismissed her council.
“Leave us,” she ordered them, and they obliged.
She brushed her hair from her face and took a deep breath.
“Werewolf? You fucked a werewolf? It’s bad enough that you prefer males, but this? It’s a good thing it wasn’t a female. We don’t need any half-breeds running around in this world.”
Yoochun bowed his head.
“Look at me when I speak to you.”
She grabbed him by the chin and stared him down.
“Was he good? Did he satisfy your carnal lust?”
Yoochun smiled and licked his lips. He showed no fear in front of his Queen; the most powerful of all the vampires; the one who had turned him.
“Is this how you treat me? I gave you eternal life and what do you do to repay me? You fuck an animal!”
She stared at him and his bloody face. Her hands wiped the cuts; fingers licking the residue. Her fangs came out and Yoochun prepared himself for death.
The Queen sank her fangs into his exquisite neck; he did not flinch; eyes closed he relaxed and thought of the werewolf; the animal he loved.
She drank her fill but stopped before she could drain him of his life’s blood. Releasing him he did the unthinkable. Staggering to his feet, he bowed to her; his body weak and near death. He tried to move but fell to his knees. The Queen rushed to him and cradled him in her arms.
“Forgive me my love,” she begged him. “You have always been my weakness.”
She bit her wrist and made him drink; her blood reviving him. The Queen kissed him sweetly and helped him to his feet.
“I’m going to regret this Yoochun. The others will criticize me for being too soft. They know you are my favorite and I am too gentle with you.”
Yoochun stood before her and bowed his head once more.
“Go to your precious animal,” she told him. “No good will come from this. It will all end in blood.”
“Go now before I change my mind.”
Yoochun bowed to her once more and as he opened up the door to her council room he turned to her.
“Thank you, Gahee.”
He entered the woods; eyes and ears open for any signs of life. He turned to face a familiar creature. The werewolf’s yellow eyes glowed in the dark; it showed its fangs, growling as it approached him. But then it changed; ears flattened, tail between its legs; the creature whined like a lost puppy. The vampire stepped backwards, not sure how to react. He leaned up against a tree and slid down. Extending his hand; the animal licked it. The werewolf lay next to him; rolling on the forest floor; exposing his belly, begging for it to be scratched. The werewolf laid his head in the Vampires lap; Yoochun hesitated, but responded by gently touching the animal. Within moments, the werewolf had transformed. Naked, he shivered in the cold; Yoochun’s deep and raspy voice sending a chill down his spine.
“Changmin.”
Their lips touched lightly; soft and warm; sweet and gentle. They held each other in the darkness; Changmin undressing his lover until there was nothing between them but skin.
Arms and legs entangled; Yoochun pressed Changmin onto the forest floor.
“I’m sorry.”
“For what?”
“Everything.”
“Don’t be. It’s what we want. We’ve chosen to be together. Only death will break us apart.”
Changmin opened up to his lover; Yoochun slowly rocking into him; they would take their time; their mating would be slow and passionate. The evening was theirs; deep in the underbrush; hidden by the canopy of trees; the full moon peeking through the branches. Changmin arched his back as Yoochun thrust in deep; the werewolf trying his best not to let loose a primal scream. He wanted to howl at the moon; share his ecstasy with the creatures of the night; show the world that two enemies could love each other.
“I love you,” Changmin gasped, his hand grabbing his hardened shaft; stroking himself in time with Yoochun’s thrusts.
Tears filled Yoochun’s eyes; his thoughts turned to Gahee, his maker; Changmin’s sweet voice interrupting him.
“Don’t cry my love,” the werewolf whispered; his free hand reaching up to wipe away the vampires tears.
Yoochun could take no more. He spilled; his cries echoing throughout the woods. He didn’t care.
Changmin was still stroking himself hard.
“Let me,” the vampire said breathlessly, as he took Changmin’s ample length in his mouth. The werewolf gasped; fingers grasped Yoochun’s hair as his lover sucked upon his swollen flesh.
“I’m coming now,” he exclaimed, growling as he released his seed in Yoochun’s mouth; the vampire swallowing all of it.
Panting, chests heaving, they held each other close; huddled in the dark they wept.
“We must part now,” the werewolf stated. “Dawn is coming; I can smell it.”
Yoochun dressed himself; Changmin’s eyes never leaving his.
They kissed one last time; feverishly hard and fast.
“Go my love,” Yoochun ordered him. “Go now.”
The werewolf took one last look before changing into his animal form. Yoochun watched until he disappeared. He made haste and returned to the safety of the vampire lair. He was greeted at the door by Gahee.
“Did you enjoy yourself?”
Yoochun blushed.
“Sleep now, and remember, no one must know of this.”
He nodded and retreated to the safety of his room. Crawling inside his coffin, the vampire smiled despite his pain. He drifted to sleep as the sun rose; thoughts of his beautiful Changmin filling his dreams
