Summary: Kim Junsu is a scientist in charge of two very naughty demons
A/N: based loosely on Hell Boy; inspired by my love of fantasy and other creepy things.
Junsu awoke from his dream, his body drenched with sweat.
“Fuck. I’ve had enough of this nonsense.”
Not bothering to shower, he hastily dressed himself in a plain shirt and a pair of sweats. Storming past the security guards who had dozed off, he used his security key and opened the padded cell which held the pair of demons.
His unexpected and abrupt entrance startled the male and female who were huddled together.
The female cowered and backed away from the scientist; apparently she knew her place. Her relationship with Jaejoong the anthropologist had grown; the male not seeming to care that they were close. He had other things on his mind.
“We need to talk,” Junsu told the male; the animal staring back at him, an evil smirk on his face.
“Anything you have to say can be said in front of my mate,” his voice reverberating inside Junsu’s head.
Junsu snarled at the demon.
“No more telepathy. Speak to me with your lips.”
The male stood up; his bat like wings extending to their full length. The demon stretched his head back exposing his elegant neck; his exaggerated Adam’s apple bobbing up and down. Clawed hands ran through dark, silken tresses which fell upon perfectly aligned clavicles. Narrowing his eyes, he licked his lips seductively at the scientist. He stood still as if he were posing for a picture; a thin sheen of sweat covering his pale, naked body. Junsu took a deep breath, inhaling a familiar scent; the two creatures had mated during the night.
The scientist’s eyes fixated on the magnificent creature before him. The demon had turned out to be more trouble than the scientist could ever imagine. The creature fascinated him and aggravated him at the same time. His unnatural affection for Junsu was unnerving; talk of past lives and intertwined destinies was disturbing enough; but the dream which woke Junsu from his sleep was the last straw. Then there was Jaejoong’s discovery of a sinister plot involving the Devil himself. If Armageddon was on its way, Junsu had some questions that needed to be answered.
Junsu walked over to the adjacent door and opened it with his security card. He motioned to the demon’s mate to enter her room, the pretty little female looking to Yoochun for reassurance.
“Go,” he commanded her, and with a heavy heart she obeyed.
As the door whooshed closed, Junsu stared down his charge.
“I want answers and I want them now. No more games. I’ve had enough of these tricks you are playing on my mind.”
The demon smiled.
“You had the vision,” he said slowly; his speech still unsure; the human tongue primitive and difficult to articulate. He preferred telepathy.
“It was a trick, wasn’t it? You’re still trying to get me to believe that we were lovers in another life time.”
The demon twirled strands of his jet black hair between his clawed fingers.
“Was it good?” the demon asked, his words deep and raspy. Did it seem real?”
Junsu was livid.
“I’m not here to discuss your trickery. I’m here to...”
“What did we do in the dream?” the creature interrupted. “Did I seduce you and pledge my undying love to you?”
The demon’s accent and difficulty of speaking seemed to fade as he continued to goad his human captor.
The scientist stood; fists balled up tightly. He was trying hard not to hit the animal before him.
“Do you remember how beautiful you were; white wings of downy feathers; long flowing golden hair; your smile brought me to my knees. I was your slave Junsu. I would have done anything for you. I would have killed a thousand angels just to hear you say my name.”
The scientist narrowed his eyes.
“That’s enough Yoochun.”
The demon’s heart skipped a beat.
“Junsu”
The animal charged him; the scientist struggling with all his might but to no avail. With his back flat against the wall, Junsu had nowhere to go.
The demon’s wings expanded fully and began to vibrate. The creature rubbed his naked form up and down Junsu’s trembling body.
“I remember how sweet your lips tasted; like nectar from a flower. Your skin was so warm and soft; your scent intoxicating. You took my breath away.”
“Bastard,” the scientist spat at the demon; the creature continuing to molest him.
“Take your filthy hands off of me!”
The demon growled, fangs nipping at Junsu’s throat.
“That’s what you said all those years ago and yet you stretched your beautiful body on the cold, wet ground and spread your legs for me.”
Junsu’s brain snapped. Without a second thought he kneed the creature in the groin.
The demon’s body crumpled to the floor groans of agony escaping from his lips.
Breathless, Yoochun looked up at Junsu, tears in his eyes.
“Why Junsu? Why do you forsake me? Why do you deny your destiny?”
The scientist felt no pity for the animal before him.
“Where did you go Junsu? You threw yourself off the cliff and I followed you, but you were lost. I died that day. My heart broke into a thousand pieces.”
Junsu was speechless. He didn’t want to respond, nor did he want to listen to the foul creature and his lies.
“I fell into a great melancholy state. I did nothing. For centuries I mourned your loss. I often thought of ending my own life. If it weren’t for the girl, I might have succeeded.”
Yoochun motioned to the door that separated him from his mate.
“So you do care for her?”
The scientist stood with his hands on his hips.
“Of course I do. At first I shunned her. She was forced upon me by her father. I wanted nothing to do with her, but then, I grew to accept her.”
Junsu swallowed hard remembering that the girl was Satan’s daughter and that something big and terrible was on its way.
Yoochun winced in pain and staggered to his feet; hands rubbing the sore flesh between his legs.
“That hurt.”
“Good.”
The demon pouted.
“You hate me so much, don’t you, just like you did back then. But your curiosity didn’t keep you from following me. You were young and innocent, but a part of you was mischievous and you disobeyed your elders.”
Junsu rolled his eyes. He didn’t believe a word of the demon’s story, but he decided to let Yoochun continue.
“You followed me to a secluded mountain top where I professed my undying love for you. At first you were frightened and wanted to go home, but when I kissed your lips, you moaned my name into my mouth.”
Junsu sighed deeply.
“Do you really expect me to believe all this nonsense; that I’m an angel and we were lovers hundreds of years ago?”
The demon nodded his head.
“If I can prove it to you, what will you do then?”
Junsu pondered the demon’s question.
“Prove it and we’ll see.”
The demon smirked; his facial expression making Junsu uneasy. The creature approached him; the scientist staggering backwards as the animal touched him.
“What are you doing?”
Clawed hands outstretched and reached for Junsu’s clothes.
“What are you doing?”
Surprisingly nimble fingers began to undress the scientist.
“Don’t touch me.”
The demon pulled off Junsu’s shirt exposing his upper torso.
“I told you not to touch me,” the scientist repeated angrily.
The demon pressed his palms against the scientists back.
“Do you sleep at night?”
The scientist glared at the demon. The creature knew damn well he hadn’t been sleeping; not since Yoochun began talking to him in his head.
“Does your back hurt? Do you often feel something that shouldn’t be there?”
Junsu growled.
“Are you kidding me? What are you driving at? Are you trying to tell me I have angel wings inside me?”
Fingers delicately traced lines across the scientist’s shoulder blades. Junsu flinched; Yoochun’s touch sending a shiver up and down his spine.
“They’re sleeping Junsu. They’ve been dormant for a long time, but I can awaken them.”
“Bullshit.”
The demon forced the scientist up against the wall, his naked body pressed hard against Junsu’s back.
“Let me go, asshole.”
The warmth of Yoochun’s body turned to searing heat that burned through Junsu’s skin and bones, causing the scientist to cry out in pain.
“You motherfucker,” he screamed at the demon; “what are you doing to me?”
The heat continued to burn him as if he were going up in flames.
“Wait until you see them Junsu. Never have I seen such an impressive wingspan; magnificent pure downy white feathers.”
The scientist knees began to buckle; the demon holding him upright as he slumped forward.
“I’ll kill you,” Junsu groaned; “I’ll give you to Changmin and he’ll torture you to death.”
Yoochun dug his fangs into the scientist neck, growling like the animal he was. His clawed hands grabbed Junsu’s hair; hair that was changing before his eyes.
“See,” the demon whispered breathlessly, his heart pounding with excitement; “it’s happening. The change has begun.”
Strange things indeed were happening to Junsu; his dark hair was slowly lightening and growing long within the demon’s grasp. His entire back seemed to be moving on the inside; shifting, stretching; muscles tearing; bones contorting in ways that seemed impossible.
The scientist’s lungs ached; pulse raced as the demon held him tightly; tongue lapping his sweat and blood; words of encouragement whispered in his ear in a deep and raspy voice.
“Let it go Junsu. Like a butterfly you must escape your cocoon. Break free and let your true self be known.”
Junsu gritted his teeth as the pain intensified. Shutting his eyes tightly, he felt the bitter sting of tears.
Skin tore; blood seeping from the wounds; the site of Junsu’s blood as it trickled down his back making Yoochun hard. The scientist pitched forward, the demon‘s arms tight around his waist to keep him from falling.
A silent scream escaped the scientist’s lips; back exploding as his wings were finally set free.
No longer able to contain himself, Yoochun spilled; his body trembling; desperately clinging to Junsu who was shivering like a leaf.
They regained their composure, if such a thing were possible at a time like this; Yoochun’s arms still wrapped around Junsu’s body.
“Let me go,” the scientist screamed at the demon; Yoochun releasing him and backing away.
Junsu walked over to the two way mirror and gasped at his appearance.
“You see,” the demon spoke in a low, dulcet tone; “do you see how beautiful you are. Welcome back, Junsu. Welcome back, my love.”
The room began to spin; eyes fluttered closed and all was black.
The angel Junsu slid to the floor.
