Every fiber of Yoochun’s being was set ablaze. He wanted Junsu more than he wanted wealth, women and revenge. But he would have his revenge, and Junsu would help. He knew the younger man needed proof of his adopted father’s treachery, and Yoochun was willing to get that proof and share it with Junsu at any cost.
“The missing page,” Junsu gasped as Yoochun’s fingers stroked his length; “show me the missing page.”
“Later my love,” he whispered breathlessly as he stripped Junsu bare.
Yoochun hastily removed his own clothes; Junsu cowering in fear. Part of him wanted to beat the shit out of the club owner for kidnapping him, and the other part felt pity and guilt. Still, Yoochun’s affection for him was a mystery. He still couldn’t decide if it was genuine.
“Tell me the truth Yoochun,” Junsu managed to speak; the club owner nipping and kissing his way across Junsu’s trembling body; “do you really love me? How can you? We barely know each other?”
The older man drew a deep breath. He paused and cupped Junsu’s face in his hands.
“Do you trust me?”
Junsu shook his head. The question was ridiculous.
“What must I do for you to trust me?
Junsu grasped on to Yoochun’s wrists and pulled his hands away from his face.
“Show me the missing page, and I will consider trusting you.”
The club owner sighed deeply. Still on his hands and knees he crawled over to where he had tossed his blazer. There, in the inside pocket, was the missing page.
He reluctantly handed it to Junsu.
“I’m sorry,” Yoochun spoke softly.
Junsu unfolded the paper and read quietly to himself. Yoochun watched as Junsu’s lips moved, but made no sound. He read the paper; hands and body shaking until he finished. Still grasping the document, he sat in silence. Yoochun knew better than to ask Junsu if he was ok. Junsu would never be ok again.
Junsu looked up at the older man, tears in his eyes.
“This is true?” he asked.
Yoochun nodded his head.
The club owner took the page from Junsu’s hands and placed it back in his coat pocket.
Junsu pondered what he had just read. Not long after Yoochun’s birth, his mother was being coerced into putting the baby up for adoption. Instead, she ran to the police for help. She revealed to the authorities all the gritty details of the infamous Mr. Kim’s dirty doings. Willing to testify, she asked only that she and her baby boy be looked after. A good man was assigned to protect her; a cop who had a reputation for upholding the law. This same man was about to become a father himself; his wife weak and sickly; bed ridden for months. They risked everything to have a child despite what the doctors told them. They had no idea that a tragic and untimely death awaited them both…
“You must hate me now,” Yoochun stated.
Junsu lowered his head.
“My real father was killed at my adopted father’s order. He died protecting you and your mother.”
Yoochun turned his head in shame.
“My mother was so frightened, she ran away with me. Everyday she told me about my father and the monster that he was. I promised my mother that I would avenge her and the nice man who saved our lives. I was just a child, Junsu, but I never forgot. I learned many years later about you; how your mother died in childbirth and you were adopted. I had no idea my father adopted you. I’m not sure he knows the truth about your real parents. As far as I can tell, it was your adopted mother who singled you out, not him. Perhaps he knew but kept it to himself. Just remember, your adopted mother loves you very much. She plays no part in this tragedy.”
Junsu began to weep.
Yoochun cradled him in his arms; Junsu burying his head in the older man’s shoulder.
“It was a cruel twist of fate that has brought us together Junsu. I’m sorry I had to bring you here. I never think clearly. All I know is that my hatred has driven me to do mad things. Can you ever forgive me?”
Yoochun held him tightly while the sobs wracked his body. After several minutes, Junsu seemed to calm down. In a voice as cold as ice he turned and faced his captor.
“I’m glad you brought me here. I understand why your pain drove you to madness. Together, we will cut out this cancer that has destroyed our lives.”
A wicked smile appeared on Yoochun’s face.
“Yes my love, together we will destroy him and avenge them all; your parents, my mother, and all the others whose lives were ruined.”
The one time kidnapper placed a soft kiss on Junsu’s lips; the younger man accepting it willingly, no longer caring that the man before him had taken him by force. Yoochun held his heart captive now, not just his body. He opened up to the older man as their bodies became one. Entwined within each other’s arms they loved each other long and hard; the older man taking control. Junsu ignored the pain as he was taken for the first time. Wrapping his legs around Yoochun’s waist, he welcomed his new lover with every thrust. They made love deep into the night; the stark, empty room made less cold by the warmth of their bodies. They explored each other; fingers and mouths touching; teasing. Sweat mingled with tears as skin rubbed against skin; Yoochun crying out as he spilled. Junsu wept as the inevitable overcame him; Yoochun giving what comfort he could. Huddled in the dark they spoke in whispers; gentle and encouraging words to ease each other’s pain. Exhaustion overcame Junsu and he drifted off to sleep; his arms and legs entangled with his lover’s body; clinging to the older man as if he never wanted to let go. As the solace of the evening embraced them, Yoochun smiled; he knew that all would be made right with the rising of the sun.
