The phone rang.
“Did you get it?”
“Yes, thank you.”
“Is it satisfactory?”
“Yes, very much so.”
“It’s getting dangerous. I don’t know how much more evidence I can get you.”
“I won’t require anything else. Just lay low.”
“I’m worried about Junsu. What if he tries something?”
“You must keep an eye on him. Keep him out of trouble.”
“I’ll do my best. What about you?”
“Don’t worry about me, worry about Junsu.”
“What if I can’t stop him?”
“You must. Worst case scenario, reveal yourself to him.”
Silence.
“Is that wise?”
“If he knows that his actions could hurt you, he will back off.”
“Very well, I’ll let you go.”
“Wait.”
“What is it?”
“There’s one more thing. You must not let him out of your site. He must not come and see me. It would jeopardize everything. Do you understand?”
“Yes.”
“For what it’s worth, thank you.”
“Anything for the son of a friend.”

Park Yoochun sighed, hot breath expelling into the cold air. His hand reached out and touched the simple headstone; slender fingers caressing the granite. He placed a bouquet of wildflowers upon the grave and sniffled; a single tear streaking down his cheek.
“Soon Umma; soon I will avenge you.”
