Creatures of the Night-Chapter 2

"Lila?"
"Yes, Yoochun?"
" I have to go."
"I know you do."
"Will you come with me?"
"I can't Yoochun.  I am a solitary creature."
"You can't stay here Lila.  You have to leave.  The killings must stop."
"I know.  I will leave."
"Where will you go?"
"Far away.  Very far away."
"Will I ever see you again?"
"I don't know."
"Goodbye Lila."
"Goodbye Yoochun."
"Yoochun.....Yoochun..."

He woke up in a cold sweat.  Yunho's voice had broken the spell.

"She's back, Yoochun.  Your cat girl is at it again."

Yunho shoved the newspaper in Yoochun's face.  The headlines read like a broken record.

Unsolved mystery rears it's ugly head as corpse of young man found in City Park.

This was nothing new, except the news came too late.  Sixteen years too late.  Sixteen years had passed since Yoochun's encounter with Lila.  She had promised him she would go far away and never come back.  Why break her promise?  Why now, sixteen years later?  Something was not right.

"Get your lazy ass out of bed.  Go to City Park  and bring this bitch down.  And don't tell me how it's not her fault and yada yada yada.  I don't want to hear it."

Yoochun got dressed.  He put on his old faithful trench coat and packed his usual brand of cigarettes.  But this time he left his weapons at home.  They were useless against Lila.  She was just too powerful.  He had tried to subdue her the first time and he failed miserably.  It had cost him dearly.  He was prepared to give up his life this time no matter what, even if it meant killing himself.  Anything would be better than the humiliation of returning a failure.  Yunho let it slide the first time, but there would not be a second.

Yoochun drove his car to the outskirts of City Park.  Using stealth and his vampire skills, he evaded the police and jumped the barriers.  He walked through the park looking for signs of Lila.  He lit a cigarette, hoping the trail of smoke and the smell of tobacco would draw her out.   He stood under the same lamp next to the same wall he stood under sixteen years ago.  He waited.  Waited for Lila to show.

The hair on the back of his neck stood up.  Instantly his eyes changed to that all too familiar blood red.  His fangs extended to their full length.  He could smell her.  Or did he?  There was something different this time, but what?  He decided he was done with playing games.

"Come out Lila.  It's Yoochun.  No need to hide from me.  Show yourself."

She started to come out of the shadows, but the light from the street lamp frightened her.  Yoochun could see that she was not morphed into her jungle cat form.   She was human and she was naked. The werecat saw him and paused timidly.  She would come no further.  Yoochun spread his arms out in friendship.  He approached her slowly.

It's ok Lila.  It's Yoochun.  Look.  See?  I won't hurt you."

The cat girl stayed in the shadows.  Only her silouette could be seen.  Yoochun was worried.  Was she ill? Had she forgotten him?  Anything was possible.

"Look," he said.  "I'll give you my coat.  You must be cold.  I'll take it off slowly, ok?"

Yoochun slowly removed his trench coat.  He held it out in front of him.  He stepped towards her, offering it to her.  She ducked back into the shadows and turned her back to him.  Yoochun's hands were shaking as he draped the coat over Lila's shoulders.

"You see," he whispered.  "It's ok now."

The girl did not answer him.

"Lila?"

A timid voice answered him, but it was not the soft, warm velvet voice he remembered.  It was dark, deep and raspy.  Yoochun swallowed hard as the girl turned to face him.

"I knew you would come."

Yoochun looked into her eyes.  They weren't emerald green.  They were dark, small and almond shaped.  They were his.  Yoochun was staring at his mirror image.  The cigarette fell out of his mouth.

"She told me you were beautiful.  I've waited so long for this moment.  I've waited so long to meet you, Father."

Yoochun's heart skipped several beats.

"Father," the girl whsipered.  "So beautiful.  My father.  My pretty, pretty Yoochun."

Yoochun screamed on the inside.

"Holy fucking shit," he said to himself.  "I'm a fucking father."

"I...I...I don't know what to say.  I swear I didn't know.  She never told me....your mother never told me."

The girl approached Yoochun.  She was shivering, but Yoochun wasn't sure that it was from cold.  She seemed so fragile to him.  The closer she came to him, the more he could see the uncanny resemblance.  The thick dark hair, those almond eyes so characteristic of Asians, the full lips.  Yes, there was no denying it.  She was his.

"Father.....she outstretched her arms to him.  He didn't know what to do.  He stood frozen.  He was afraid.

She smiled at him flashing a set of bright and even teeth.

"God, she's even got my teeth."  Then he panicked.

"My teeth.  Holy crap.   A half-breed. Does she have my fangs or Lila's?  What kind of powers does she have?  What the fuck am I going to do with this girl?"

The cat-girl continued to approach him.

"What's your name girl?"

"Mother calls me Hecate."

"Great," he mumbled to himself.  "My kid is named after the Greek goddess of sorcery and witchcraft.  Thank you Bullfinch's Mythology."

"Father......"  Hecate moved so close to Yoochun it made him nervous.  He was getting a bad feeling about her.  He stood motionless as his daughter's delicate fingers reached out and touched his face.  They both flinched at the initial contact.  Her hands were shaking, and Yoochun became concerned.  Was she sick, or was she so frightened that she couldn't control herself?  Her fingers ran through his hair and lightly touched his cheeks.  They danced gently over his mouth and then traced a line from his chin down to his throat.  He stood paralyzed as her delicate fingers fumbled with the buttons of his shirt.

"What are you doing?"

"Shhhh...."

Her hands were cold against his bare skin.  Hecate continued to touch him.  It was disconcerting.  Her slender fingers roamed across his collar bones and his chest.

"No scars," she murmurred.  "So perfect."

Yoochun was breathing hard.  He could feel his temperature rising.  This girl was different.  Very different.  He could sense a power within her that was terrifying.

"Half-breed.  Dangerous.  Sorcery. Witchcraft."

His mind was racing out of control and so was his pulse.  Hecate placed her palm flat against his pounding heart.

"So strong, father.  My father's heart is so strong."

Yoochun was doomed.  She was evil.  His vampire blood and Lila's did not mix well, like oil and water.  Inside this girl two forces were fighting each other for supremacy.  They were driving her insane.

"So lovely.  My father is so lovely .  My pretty, pretty little Yoochun-ah."

Yoochun gasped as Hecate's hand made it's way towards his crotch.

"Oh no, oh hell no."

He grabbed her wrists before they reached their final destination.  He stared her down with his blood red eyes which so often were used to mesmerize weaker beings.

"You are sick girl.  I can help you.  I'll take you home.  I'll make you well."

Hecate laughed at him.  She easily escaped his grasp.

"Silly father.  Are you trying to charm me?  I'm afraid it won't work.  You can't seduce me father, not that you need to, but I can seduce you.  My beautiful Yoochun-ah."

"I am so fucking dead," the vampire said to himself.  His most recent experiences with women were a disaster. The first one made him a vampire, the second nearly ripped his heart out and now this?  His own flesh and blood wants to rape him.  Strike three, you're out!  No wonder he preferred the company of males.

His mind turned back to the creature before him.

"Don't do this girl.  I'm your father."

Hecate's body was shuddering uncontrollably.  Her evil laughter turned to tears.

"Run father," she begged him.  "Run for your life."

She wrapped her arms around herself and fell to the ground.

"Hecate?"

"Hecate is no more.  I am Hell."

Hecate screamed, like a small animal being torn apart.  Yoochun stumbled backwards, his back against the wall.  He was paralyzed in fear.  He watched in horror as his child transformed into a being like he had never seen.  Not the beautiful panther like her mother and not the regal countenance of a vampire, but a bastardization of the two.  Frightening, horrifying, yet fantastic at the same time.  She remained on two feet, if they could be called that.  They were more like paws.  Her arms too, were cat-like in nature; her claws alarmingly long and sharp. Hecate had a tail, with barbs on the end of it.  Yoochun could not believe his eyes.   Her face was that of a cat, but with human eyes.  Her fangs were definitely those of a vampire.  And she had bat wings.  Yes, bat wings.

"Where the fuck did they come from?"

Yoochun was petrified.   He couldn't move.  There was nowhere to go.  He was going to die.

Hecate hissed at him, gnashing her jaws as she moved in for the kill.

"Yoochun must pay," she whispered in his ear.  "Yoochun must suffer for making me this way."

Blood red tears flowed down the vampires cheeks.

"Forgive me girl, he sobbed.  Please forgive me.  I had no idea.  I swear I had no idea."

Yoochun wept for the pitiful creature before him.  This poor innocent child who suffered because of him.  She had the right to despise him.  She had to right to do with him as she pleased.  Yoochun gave up.  He wanted to help her, but how can you help someone like this?  It was hopeless.

Hecate grabbed Yoochun by the chin and banged his head hard up against the wall.  He felt his skull cracking open from the force.  He looked deep into her eyes.  She was crying.  Crying tears of blood, like her father.

"It's ok girl," he reassured her.  "It's ok."

Hecate was shaking.  He could see that she knew.  She understood.

"I told you to run father.  Why didn't you listen? You could have escaped.  Now I have to hurt you.  Now you are mine."

The evil laughter once more escaped her lips

"My pretty, pretty Yoochun-ah.  Do you taste as sweet as you look?"

Hecate licked the blood from his face.  Yoochun closed his eyes as her tongue slipped between his teeth.  He did not fight her.  He let her have her way with him.  She kissed him relentlessly, all the while Yoochun's sobs  were getting worse.

"Men," she spat at him.  "Why am I tasting men?  Damn you father.  Damn you."

Her claws ripped through his clothes and his skin, shredding him to pieces.  Yoochun would not scream in pain.  He just kept crying.

"Fight me, Yoochun.  Fight back."

Yoochun did not answer her.

"Love me father.  Love me."

Hecate's hands reached out to touch his cock.  In a last effort of defiance, he flashed his fangs at her.

"Yes father, fight me.  Fight back."

"Go ahead girl," he spat at her.  "Go ahead and fuck me.  But remember, your mother had me first."

Hecate screamed like a banshee.  She sank her fangs into Yoochun's throat and began to drain him.  Simultaneously she stroked his cock.  She released him from her bite and stared deeply into his eyes.

"Now father.  Now you are truly mine."

Unable to resist her power.  Yoochun grew hard beneath her hands.

"What a good boy, Yoochun.  Give me you love.  Give me your love."

Hecate mounted him with ease.  Yoochun cursed himself.  He cursed Lila.  He cursed the world.

Yoochun closed his eyes as Hecate fucked him.  It was her first time.  He could sense it.  But it didn't matter.  He tried so hard not to please her.  He did not fight, he did not encourage her.  He just stood there and hoped she would get tired of him and eat him alive.

"Don't do it," he told himself.  "Don't come.  Don't come inside her.  My girl.  Don't come inside my girl."

His mind was like a steel trap.  Nothing was getting in or getting out.  He was holding out.  Holding out for dear life.  He would not come inside her.  No more bastards.  No more half-breeds.  No more abominations.

Hecate was getting tired.  She had never done this before.  It was harder than she thought.  She was losing her stamina.  This beautiful creature before her which she hated and loved at the same time was too much for her.  She cried out in desperation as she pulled herself off of him.  He was still rock hard.    Finally set free from her onslaught, her released himself, spilling his seed on the ground.    Yoochun was gasping for air, his body bruised and bleeding.   Hecate curled up in a little ball, her wings enveloping her body.    He stood over her and watched as she changed back to the fragile, and delicate human girl.  Yoochun covered her with his trench coat.  Despite his weekend state he scooped her in his arms.  Once more evading police barriers and curious on lookers, he got Hecate to his car.  As they sped away,  she began to mumble under her breath.

"Father, who is Su?"

Yoochun narrowed his eyes.

"No way girl," he scolded her.  "You keep your paws off of my Su-ah."

Hecate chuckled.

"Changmin?"

He looked over at her briefly.

"Damn it girl, do you know the names of all my lovers?'

She smiled at him.

"I know everything Father."

"Changmin is tall and he has a huge...."

"Well yes," Yoochun interrupted her.  "Changmin is tall.  No more sex for you girl until we get you calmed down".

Hecate frowned.  She buried her head in the crook of Yoochun's neck and fell asleep.

"Where are you Lila," he asked.  "Your daughter needs you.  I need you."

Far off in a distant land, a black jungle cat was winding it's way through a forest.

"I'm coming Yoochun-ah.  I'm coming."
