I think FIV is one of the most common viruses for domesticated cats.

its hard to believe but animals do get aids. i remember my cousin's dad owned a lab puppy that was positive. i think the reason why he took him is because no one wanted him. but they didnt keep him for long. ironically, i think he was put to sleep. :(
