I love you, Hayao Miyazaki. Just saw this movie, on opening night yesterday. I'm so glad Miyazaki's movies can start out in wide release (Princess Mononoke was his first movie to make the big screen in America, but it was limited release). What you say is hardly whining. It's important that all of us care about this, and care deeply. I always look askance at those who criticize people for being "too involved". Ummm... yes, you SHOULD BE INVOLVED!

There was a recent article on alternet about the psychology of the rightwing. It's quite fascinating, especially since it's written by a Republican.
