I've been procrastinating too long and won't make my end of January timeline if I keep this up.

So, today I helped the family member mentioned earlier to clear off and move a bookcase to make room for an "entertainment center" that was going to be delivered. Why did I do it? I don't know, the previous event has not been forgiven nor forgotten. However, in the end it was a good thing because I rescued several books that were being neglected.

A mud slide has killed at least three people, more are missing, and a town has been evacuated because water is cresting a dam. As much as I like rain, this is deadly.

No updates for A Distant Faith this time around, due to computer problems. Hopefully everything will turn out ok when Faith gets it back from whoever is doing the repairs.

So I've calmed down a bit. But on top of feeling ill and not being able to sleep well recently that was the last thing I needed to hear.

I had to rely on Photobucket's resizing when uploading these, it didn't do that bad a job. Other than that, none of these have been altered.

I just rediscovered some old notes, this could work. Have you thought about gremlins? Not the ones from the Gremlins movies, but the ones people used to blame mechanical malfunctions on?

You all probably know by now that Count Your Sheep is one of the webcomics I read. But read this strip, especially the last panel. Why? I always feel sorry for the christmas trees.

A website goes down and all the data was lost. A sad thing for it's regular visitors, yes? I left them alone.

However, the eater of roadkill refers to the loss of the site as "our private tsunami"! Comparing the loss of a friggin' website to a disaster that's killed a staggering number of people?! Where do people get off spouting this crapAnd, yes ( Read more... )
