So I've been researching Sumerian mythology while I should have been studying microbial ecology. (d'oh must pass that damn test)

Inanna=Ishtar which is pretty cool. I've been going through her list of alternate names trying to pick one for a character that will appear soon. I kinda like Ninanna as it is the closest to Ninon, who was ever the chatter of France. But I might go with Irnina as it is the most normal.
I was looking up Nergal and I was going to leave him out and come up with my own consort for Ereshkigal but then I found out that Nergal is the name of a real death metal musician so I might have to leave him in. Ereshkigal is also the name of a death metal band. Yesh, is it just me or are metal enthusiast they only people who ever study Sumerian mythology?
Borrowing heavily from ragnarok I think I have a good idea for what the back story is. Poor Gavin, he's stuck in the middle of all this end of the world crap and all he wants to do is write crappy poetry and make goofy cameo appearances in korman-vers.
