I KNOW! I looked at the adds and cinematic trailers and thought, "Oh wow. That looks awesome 8D Another Independence Day? Yes please!" But nope. -.- Somehow, they managed to make aliens invading earth painfully bland.

It's like it tried to be too many movies at once and never could figure out which one it wanted to be.

I like the premise of the story. It could have been something epic but it just failed so hard. Speaking of Independence Day...I haven't seen that movie in a while! *runs to Netflix*

After watching Skyline I'm in need of a good alien movie. Lol.

Said the exact same thing to my friend leaving the cinema XD Felt like I needed to wash out the taste of that movie with some good old Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum vs Mothership!

Seriously though. Independence Day mixed with War of The Worlds, a splash of Cloverfield and a just a touch of District-9. Leave out all good characterisation and development. Let it set for 1 and a half hours. The perfect mixture for a piece of crapola XD

Oh god, I was invited to go see Skyline last night and I'm so glad I didn't now. XD Why waste $8.00 on that when I can see Inception (again) for a dollar? But I might end up seeing it anyway, because I can't stay away from anything hilariously bad + aliens. *sigh*

Hmm, it really just gets hilariously bad towards the end... The rest of it is just pretty dull and meh *shrugs* I definitely wouldn't PAY to go see it if I were you XD Wait till you're able to download it or something. Totally not worth $8.00.
